-Senior Pastor Tracey L. Whaley, Sr.

 

Tracey L. Whaley, Sr and his family were founding members of New Creation Christian fellowship coming alongside and serving with our founders in August of 1997. He currently serves as New Creation’s Senior Pastor and has served in that capacity since August of 2018. Senior Pastor Whaley was born and raised in Covington, Georgia where he grew up the youngest of three sons of Curtis and Ruth Whaley. Pastor Tracey is a 1992 graduate of Savannah State University where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice. In addition to earning a Bachelor of Science from SSU, Pastor Whaley holds a Master of Arts in Leadership and a Master of Divinity both from Luther Rice University and Seminary.

While attending Savannah State Senior Pastor Whaley met his future wife, Renee (Brown) Whaley. Pastor and First Lady Whaley have been married for twenty-eight years and are the very proud parents of three sons Tracey, Jr., Nicholas and Isaiah.

Senior Pastor Whaley also leads the Men of Valor men’s ministry and serves as co-lead of the New Creation “One Flesh” marriage ministry. Pastor Tracey has also served as a Law Enforcement first responder for twenty-six years. He has served in various capacities within law enforcement over the years including as a training officer, a police supervisor and police commander and he currently serves as a department head in the metropolitan Atlanta area.
